Gonzales, La. – January 9, 2024 – Mayor Barney Arceneaux, along with local elected officials and community stakeholders, gathered Tuesday to celebrate the official grand opening of the Price LeBlanc PACE Center.

The 25,000 square foot facility, located in the Heritage Crossing Development at the intersection of La. 44 and La. 30, is a state-of-the-art event center equipped to host conferences, cultural and performing arts events, indoor concerts, banquets, balls, and other events.

“Today marks a long-awaited, historic day for our community. The Price LeBlanc PACE Center is open and ready to serve residents and organizations in Gonzales, throughout Ascension Parish, and beyond,” said Mayor Barney Arceneaux. “Our state-of-the-art facility will strengthen local tourism and bolster economic development in our community, and we are excited to host events that will further unify our community.”

The facility, funded by a $1.5 million donation from the Price LeBlanc family and a local 2% sales tax on hotel and motel revenue, features an auditorium and stage, several meeting rooms, a warming kitchen, and a wide array of audio, visual, and lighting equipment to support events.

The facility is currently taking reservations for future events and will announce upcoming events in the near future.
