MISSION

The mission of the Ambassador Committee is to expand the reach of the Ascension Chamber by recruiting new members, retaining current ones, and assisting with Chamber functions such as Chamber 101s, Monthly Luncheons, Ribbon Cuttings, and other Chamber-sponsored networking events. Ambassadors provide a warm welcome to new and prospective Chamber members and serve as representatives of the Ascension Chamber at various community events.

JILL COWART, HUGHES INSURANCE SERVICES

Jill is an Agent with Hughes Insurance Services. She began her career as an agent 13 years ago in Ascension Parish, joining Hughes Insurance in May of 2018. Hughes Insurance is a locally owned and operated agency offering Commercial and Personal lines coverage tailored to fit each clients’ individual needs. From commercial multi-state coverage to personal home and auto, Hughes Insurance Services can help you protect your most valuable assets.

“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” Luke 6:31 is how I live my life both personally and professionally. From an early age, I always knew I wanted to help others and give back to my community. I truly enjoy working with my clients to ensure their insurance needs are covered at the most affordable cost. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Social Work, and my journey led me to the insurance world. I am a wife of 26 years, and we have two amazing sons. I teach 10th grade PSR at St. Mark Catholic Church and I am a proud Rotarian serving others before self. 

Being an Ambassador for the Chamber suits me perfectly. I love meeting new people in my community and helping them along the way, building a stronger community and making new friends. I am grateful for this opportunity.
