Ascension Chamber Invites Local Professionals to One of the Largest Networking Events in Ascension
GONZALES, LA – The Ascension Chamber of Commerce invites all business professionals and community leaders with interests in Ascension Parish to join their Business Expo Presented by the Cardiovascular Institute of the South at the Lamar Dixon REV Center on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m
“The Business Expo brings together the very best of Ascension Parish—business owners, leaders, and community members who believe in the power of connection,” said Donnie Miller, President/CEO of the Ascension Chamber. “Every booth, every handshake, and every conversation represent another step forward in building a stronger, more vibrant local economy.”
The Expo will kick off with a luncheon featuring a dynamic keynote address by Julio Melara—business leader, speaker, author, publisher, and President/CEO of Melara Enterprises—and will also highlight member businesses and the Ascension Public Schools Partners in Education (PIE) program.
“We are honored to host yet another high-caliber keynote speaker at our Business Expo,” said Miller. “Julio’s passion for leadership development, wealth of business experience, and dynamic presence will no doubt inspire and energize our business community.
In addition to the luncheon, over one hundred local companies and organizations will have exhibitor booths setup to showcase their business and services to attendees. The prize passport sponsored by Williamson Eye Center encourages attendees to visit with each of our exhibitors to receive stamps and earn prizes at the event. The event will conclude with a Taste of Ascension Happy Hour & Industry Connect sponsored by HMC Generators where attendees will enjoy a relaxed networking opportunity featuring samples from Ascension favorites and the opportunity to connect with leaders in industry.
Attendees are encouraged to register by Friday, August 8. Attendees do not have to be members of the Ascension Chamber to attend. A limited number of exhibitor booths are available through Friday, August 1.
