Young Ascension Professionals 

Young Ascension Professionals (YAP) was formed to build a strong community of emerging leaders that fosters and encourages professional development and personal growth opportunities.  The target audience includes individuals working and/or living in Ascension Parish who are between 21 – 40 years of age with a desire to network, socialize, volunteer, and grow personally and professionally.  YAP focuses on creating a social, yet meaningful organization that will support retaining the existing young professionals in Ascension Parish while also attracting new young professionals to the market.  YAP offers educational programming, mentoring, networking, volunteer opportunities along with social events.   

YAP is available to members and non-members of the Ascension Chamber of Commerce to increase exposure, engagement and membership for the Chamber.
